Streamline has some pretty attractive plans for the most part. This is probally what reeled me in. Their starter package is only £1.49pm and is one of the most popular plans available. They also offer a 30 day money back guarantee in case you do not like their services. Or if perhaps you are having server issues or even can’t find products, you can ask for a refund. You get free instant set up, meaning that you don’t need to do all of the technical work to set up your website. With 500 MB of space, you can practically put up as many movies as you like on your site. Now, if your a s large as Youtube – you definitely will need a larger amount of space. You can easily choose between Linux or Windows, depending on your preference.
Alright, so now there I have outlined everything you get – let me share my experience. I had registered for about 12 months and was mislead, thinking that they were monthly payments. Once I found this out, I quickly contacted customer service. I only had one simple request to have my account canceled because of this issue. They could not even do this via their customer support because I was quickly directed to 3 different departments with no one to help me. Streamline hosting is definitely not what I though it would be.
When I finally made it through, they gave me a 1-800 number to call and once I called it, I was directed to a Streamling hosting rep to help me. She first asked me all the security questions and once I asked her to cancel my account, that I would first need to speak with the accounts department to verify my information. Patiently waiting on hold again, I was redirected. Now, the man that I talked to had asked me to open a support ticket instead of calling. Two hours on the phone for this was barely worth it and I had hung up, stressed out.
The next day I opened the ticket like they had asked and no one replied, not even after a week. This was absolutely absurd on their part. I quickly decided I was getting no where and tried calling again, but always the same thing. In the long run – I had to change my bank account in order for them to stop charging by debit card. Streamline hosting was one of the worst experiences I have ever had in my life.
